CPR and First Aid Certification Workshop

Description

Attention professionals in the workforce! Ensure the safety and well-being of your colleagues and clients by enrolling in our CPR Training Class and First Aid Class, instructed by We R CPR. Equip yourself with essential life-saving skills that could make all the difference in critical situations.

The session is scheduled for Tuesday, July 28, at the Construction Career Center. Participants have the option to enroll in either the CPR course, the First Aid course, or they can choose to attend both.

CPR/AED Course: 7:30-10:30 a.m.

The American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver® certified CPR/AED course is designed to teach students CPR for victims of all ages, use the automated external defibrillator (AED), and relief choking. Instruction is given on recognition of life-threatening emergencies and basic CPR techniques. It is available to anyone desiring, or required, to obtain the knowledge and skills taught at this level. Upon successful completion of the skills demonstration, students will receive their Heartsaver® CPR/AED course completion card which is valid for two years. 

First Aid Course: 11 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver® First Aid course is designed to teach students the general principles of adult first aid, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, and environmental emergencies. Upon successful completion of the skills demonstration, students will receive their Heartsaver® First Aid course completion card which is valid for two years. 

This course is non-refundable.

CPR/AED Training: 7:30-10:30 a.m. and First Aid Training: 11:00-2 p.m.
