The Process and Flow of Construction from Site Selection to Ribbon-Cutting

This 2-part session offers an understanding of how a construction project moves from an idea to a completed project. Across two sessions, industry professionals will walk through the key phases of project development, including site selection, design, bidding, specifications, permitting, inspections, estimating, scheduling, legal considerations, subcontractor coordination, and the financial impact of decisions made throughout the process.  You'll learn construction terminology, the roles of key players, project challenges and risks, and how to optimize project flow.

Who Should Attend: This course is ideal for anyone new to the construction industry, emerging construction professionals, office staff, project engineers, assistant project managers, new estimators, subcontractors, suppliers, business development professionals, and anyone who wants a stronger understanding of the full construction process. 

Both sessions will be moderated by Chris Potter, Division Vice President at Hoar Construction
